Handle breaks!! 2nd time

I am very disappointed in the Reveal. I bought it after reading reviews and hearing great things about it. At the beginning it did fill my expectations, it was fabulous!! But after only a month of use, the handle snapped in two. Its useless, had to throw it out. I bought the Vleda one after that and it works pretty good. The spray does get stuck and you have to wait before it will spray again, which is super annoying, but I've had it for 2 months and it hasn't broke yet. I was at my friends house and I used her Reveal and guess what? The handle snapped in two. I wasn't applying any pressure, just pushing it forward and snap....wth?? Don't buy it. Wait for a new and improved model!! VERY DISAPPOINTING
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great - saves time, money and helps environment

We bought a new house with a wood floor, my first wood floor. First I didn't want to buy another thing to store, but I was really hating the mop and bucket thing! I did not want a product with a disposable something that would go to the land fill - so I really like the washable pad and the refillable spray bottle. And it is so much faster than the mop and bucket. Dry time is almost nil! Yes the trigger sticks, but I have learned to take a moment and it will unstick, and is still faster than the mop and buscket. I am hoping the handle won't break, because I really love this mop and am highly recommending it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am on the fence with this product. I first bought it because all the hype about the "other brand" that you have to buy new pads for a lot, and the fact that it's harmful for my pets. I wanted an easy product that didn't require a bucket and wringing it out all the time, also the washable pads were pretty sweet! This has worked fairly well for me for the past 8 months, then, the sprayer started sticking and now, the whole thing fell apart!!! I am not, by any means, rough on my cleaning supplies, I clean once a week and store my Reveal in the pantry, away from harm! The base of it, an the red part where the sprayer is located, broke away from each other. So I was in the middle of mopping decided to duct tape it together, simple fix, right? Wrong! Then the duct tape got wet and now its a duct tape, broken mop! What am I going to do this Saturday when I go to clean??
Please just stay away from this product unless you are handy enough to fix its mishaps!

Great idea - needs more work

I purchased this product approx 8 months ago. It worked great in the beginning. Then it started to have the same problem I am reading others are having. When you use it, squeezing the trigger only works some of the time, it sticks and it takes quite a long time before it will spray again. In the hopes that this was unusual, I just purchased another. The idea is great - if it only holds up to it's potential.

The mop pad lasted longer than the mop itself!

It started since last time when I used this mop, i heard something cracking. finally when I tried to use it just a few days ago. all of sudden, the mop handle just broke into two pieces right around the spray bottle's neck.
i only use it about once every few weeks, it has been over a year since I purchased it. so I can't ask for a replacement or anything. The pad is still very usable.
good thing is that I didn't buy any extra mop pad, that would be totally useless now.
From the reviews that I read, the mop handles do break. I think that they could have made a cheaper version without the spray bottle, that might help to keep the mop handle lasts longer.

SOOO much better than Swiffer!

I LOVE this product! I was spending so much with the swiffer that when I saw this I was ecstatic! It works great, the pads was easily and it has lasted great for the two years I have had it! All I can say is BUY IT!!!

FINALLY... A MOP THAT'S CONVENIENT TO USE!

If ya have a dog that dribbles and slobbers all over the floor, this is a "MUST HAVE." This mop is great if ya have a large area to clean. I'd go through 6 or 7 Swiffer pads at a time to wipe the entire house. This just seems so much more cost efficient and because of the size of the mop head, I get done in no time. I didn't think I'd ever be so excited about a mop.

Not durable!

I bought my first one 6 months ago, it broke within a month, they sent a coupon for a new replacement, a month later that one broke! And again this is the 3 rd one that broke. It's a wonderful concept. I love everything about it, however it does not last. The metal handle is constantly being broken from the plastic water chamber compartment. If they made both made of metal this wouldn't happen. I don't scrub hard at all...however I do use it everyday...so if your like me who likes to clean the floor at least once a day it won't last for you. I have 2 small children and I need to keep the floors clean from spills and drool from my teething daughter. If you could improve the concept and make it more durable ill reconsider purchasing again. However, I'm moving on to something new.
