Reveal Mop - good intentions

This morning my 3rd and last Reveal mop broke at the base. I purchased #2 and this last one because I had the bottles and mop bottoms. But no more. This one only lasted 6-7 weeks. I have wood floors and tile and a dog - mopping is continuous as many women know. I need a dependable product and although this one has good intentions...it isn't reliable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Significant Improvement!

I purchased and used the original model not long after it came out; however, I was constantly frustrated with the way that the bottle would close in on itself. The improved model has a much better quality bottle. It is a significant improvement!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The idea and use of the mop is great. It is so easy to use my five year old loves to mop. The cleaning pads that come with it are awesome. However, my first mop broke after three months and the second mop broke after four months. The plastic breaks right where the aluminum handle connects in to the bottle holder. I would recommend it if it didn't break so easily.

Improved Reveal Spray Mop

Upon opening the box, the improvements were noticeable right away. The mop head was made more durable, the swivel joint was greatly improved, and the center body that holds the water container and the spray mechanism was made much more durable.
I have 2000 sq, ft of hardwood flooring that i clean almost daily and needed a durable floor mop. We did purchase the earlier model, which i really liked, but, by my own fault, i broke it. I liked it so much, we got the newer version which i believe is the Reveal 1M15.(?)
I immediately used this new mop and felt the difference in the quality of this product. Using it, you can feel the durability and ease of use. However, using the floor scrubbing pad that was added seems a bit awkward because you have to flip the mop head over, but, it did remove some stubborn spots without damaging the floor finish. All in all, i really like this new mop.
I'm a retired toolmaker/machine repairman, and since my wife works, i clean the house :) Being a guy, I'm a little tougher on products when i use them.
I have no vested interest in Rubbermaid, but i will commend any company that makes a quality product and Rubbermaid has made a perfect one, in my opinion.
I would highly recommend the Reveal Spray Mop to any one and I have told several people already how much i liked it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broken at the base

I purchased my Reveal Mop in September 2012. I have loved it until now. I am a professional house cleaner and my clients have different preferences on what solution is used on their hardwood floors. I could just pour a different solution in each bottle and be good to go. No spills, no spray bottles to hold, and no awkward microfiber mop cover to handle. So, today as I was finishing up a job and loading the mop into my car, the base of the handle broke into two pieces. It isn't fixable and am considering purchasing a replacement. But, it seems this is common thing to happen and I'd like to get more than 6 months use out of a mop.

THIS PRODUCT IS ABSOLUTE JUNK. We have bought 2 of these and with little down pressure to scrub a stain and BOOM the handle breaks off in your hand. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Also don't buy the kit cause after you buy your 3 mop you will have all the parts it offers. I it won't come to no suprise if I am not contacted about this at all, the reviews show everyone with same complaint has had no feedback. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER RUBBERMAID PRODUCT AGAIN PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband recently bought me this. I just tried it out and not sure if I am using it wrong but I have to push down on the bottle pretty hard to get the spray to come out. Not too impressed.

Please make sure that there is no blue foam ring present under the bottle. This is part of the packaging and needs to be removed for the mop bottle to seat down securely into the grey reservoir and snap into place.

Reveal floor cleaner

I purchased this product 11/2012. I mop once a wk. I appreciated the washable pads & even purchased an additonal box. However, the plastic head snapped off & when I tried returning the item to Walmart they said I would need to contact Rubbermaid. Assistance would be appreciated.
