Poor quality

I purchased this mop because I liked the idea of being able to fill it with whichever cleaning solution I wanted. I thought it would be perfect for a light cleaning of paw prints in between the regular cleaning schedule.
The trigger broke during the first use! The trigger lost all tension. The trigger will eventually regain the necessary tension, but only after a long period of time. What was supposed to be a quick, light cleaning will take at least triple the time. Sorry, but I don't have time for that. I even purchased a spare cleaning pad so I would be able to use the mop while the one pad was in the wash. What a waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Trigger did NOT work

Read reviews but decided not to try some of the remedies before calling customer service. After calling CS she said that blue foamy thing around bottle should be thrown away and any plastic around bottle should be thrown but the black rubber around red cap should STAY. Also suggested was to run the red part under hot water. That seemed to do the trick and it did spray after that. YEAAAAAAA I suggested that these things be "instructions" for people to read since so many of us have had the same problems.

I absolutely loved this Mop! I had looked at other spray mops and also micro fibre pad mops and this one combines the best of both worlds!! The abaility to use your own cleaning product allows your to customized the clean to each floor surface you have in your home. The spray span was very impressive and combined with the microfibre pad my floors sparkled in no time at all! I loved the cushioned handle as well! Will deffinately be something I will have in my home for years to come!!

This mop makes cleaning floors a breeze

As my title says, cleaning floors is a breeze now after trying different mops and finally switching to the Reveal mop. the microfiber pads are gentle on all floor types but very effective. I use it on the porous ceramic tiles in the kitchen, the non porous tiles in the bathroom and the finished wood floors in the rest of the apt. My only complaints are they need to improve the trigger mechanism on the handle for the spray nozzle, it wears out after about 6 months. Other than that, its a great mop.

I love the reveal spray mop. It is the best spray mop on the market. The washable pad and container for your own cleaning fluid are the best.

Rubbermaid Spray mop

I first tried this product 10 months ago. I was so intrigued with the concept of this new mop and how it saved you money and time, that I had to have it. Before I seen and purchased this mop I was using the Swiffer line of products and I was getting so frustrated with buying the pads and I was looking for a better solution. After using the mop for about a month, I was still in awe of how well it worked and how much easier it made the task of cleaning floors. This product not only intrigued me but also my teenage children, because they were mopping the floor a lot more now, because of the ease of use. But sadly to say after the second month of using the product I had a big problem, the mop head broke. This problem lead to me questioning the quality and durability of this product. Well to see if this was a fluke or a true flaw I went and purchased another Rubbermaid Spray Mop. Just like the first mop I purchased, it works great for a couple of months then it breaks. This time it was three and a half months before it happened but was the same problem. The mop breaks in the narrow area between the mop head and the container that holds the cleaning solution. This is a great concept but it needs to twerked a little for durability.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love being able to wash the pads and make my own eco-friendly solution to wash my floors, but I am really disappointed because the trigger has stopped working after only 2 months of use. I hope that it was just a dud and I can get it replaced! Otherwise, I loved this product while it was working.
