Convenient Mop

I have only used this mop a few times and I love it. It is convenient because you can use it anytime. Your soapy water doesn't have to be hot to clean the floor. It is in there and ready to go. I like it so far!

Busted Bottle

Let me start by saying I love the idea that I can use my own cleaner and I do not have to buy any cleaning pads I can just wash them. My problem is that the bottle kept falling off and when I went to take the pad off to wash it, the bottle fell out and broke. This was the first time I even used it. It did great. A lot better then Swiffer. But now I have no bottle to work with. I now have to go and purchase another one just to get a new solution bottle. My suggestion, a locking hook or something to hold the bottle on better and make the plastic bottle a little thicker so not to crack so easy. I would pay a little more just to have that thicker bottle because the overall product is great. This is why I gave quality 1 star and duribility 1 star. Thank You.

Got Working

I bought this mop after a friend gave it a glowing review. The first time I used it though I couldn't get it working. So frustrating. I read some of the reviews and wondered if I had made a mistake in buying it, but then I read one of the company remarks/feedback. It suggested running the top of the bottle under warm water. I tried it and it now works perfectly!

Good mop..needs tweeking

All in all this is a very affordable and efficient microfiber spray mop. My dissappointment stems from the initial use. No instructions leads you to believe that you just fill with your solution and start mopping. Not so! I purchased and returned a mop because I, like others Reveal owners had difficulty getting it to work. My other gripe is no control of the distance it sprays. With the help from the blog I was able to use my Reveal and like my new cleaning tool.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have only used my mop twice, but so far am thrilled with it. It is light weight and simple to use. Did question what the blue ring was for and decided to set it aside as the mop would only work without it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The blue ring is part of the packaging that should be removed before use, as you are correct the mop will not work without removing this piece.

Some tips when using the Reveal Mop for the first time:
1. Run the tip of the bottle under warm water for up to a minute before inserting into the mop.
2. While the bottle is upside down (filled with water), push in on the nozzle to check that the water is being released.
3. Once the bottle has been clicked into the mop, you may need to "prime" the mop by pulling the trigger 20-30 times to pump the solution through.
For further information regarding care and use for your mop, you can contact our Consumer Services Department toll free at 888-895-2110, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST, M-F.

Love it - Hate it!

I love the IDEA of this mop! It's easy to use, easy to refill and I love throwing the pads into the wash.
On the other hand - I have had my mop for 2 months - and already the pole disconnects from the mop head while mopping making a job that is already a drag even worse. The mop head connection needs a revamp.
I will certainly purchase another one if rubbermaid will address this issue.

I love this mop!

This product is fabulous. I have pine floors throughout my entire house and does this make my clean-up easier??!!...you better believe it. My secret is I make a solution of mostly water, white vinegar, and a litte Cinch, every time I wash the floor...I heat the solution in the micro (NOT in the plastic bottle! PLEEZ ) in a glass pyrex meas. cup, ...so when I spray and mop it evaporates with no residue and I don't have to dry. Also, a hot solution cleans better. Now, this might not work for everyone..but it does for me. If I've given you an idea that works for you..... I'm happy!
