Poorly made

We have 7 parrots that need special cleaning products. This seemed like a wonderful product - until it broke after just a few uses. The concept is great - the quality really stinks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Reveal Mop

At first I had the same problem with spray, but then used the "toothpick technique" suggested by another review, inserted bottle again, and it worked after a few pumps. I am very happy I do not have to twist rags to clean floor anymore, i like this mop. Rubbermaid should really add a note about this in the package to avoid so many returns on this product.

I bought the Reveal Spray Mop shortly after it came on the market. I've used it for a couple years now and I've never had any problems.
Much more efficient and inexpensive than the Swiffer system, and I can use my own cleaning products. The mop cloth is durable and easy to clean.
I see reviews complaining that it wouldn't spray and that there were no directions, but my bottle has a sticker that specifically states "wet bottle tip prior to first use." I did that; I still do it, and I've never had a problem. I also store the bottle upright, separate from the mop.
I am most happy with this product and I do recommend it to my friends.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Mop Ever

Weither it be a quick clean up or the weekly overhaul, this map does it all. It's light, easy to use and you don't have to worry about over saturating the floor. It uses just the right amount of cleaner and the best is you can use your own clearners as well. The mop head is wide and deep so it covers a big area quickly. And because it's mirofiber the entire mop is made use of and not just the edges like other similar products. It really does an amazing job. No heavy mop to lug around and no dirty pail to drag from place to place. I would recommend to anyone.

Ease of use gets a one star rating from me because you don't include any instructions with the mop purchase.

Brought the mop home excited to try it and it wouldn't work. I dug the package out of the trash and no directions. I found the reviews on line and realized that several people had this problem, I was really glad to see rubbermaid had posted a "how to fix". So far it works great. The bottle keeps falling off if I bump the wall, but I fixed that with the little blue rubber band off of the asparagus! It would be nice if you didn't have to pump the sprayer #battery operated would help# my mom would love it but has problems with her hands and wouldn't be able to tolerate constantly pumping the sprayer.
A few flaws, but so far so good. And I LOVE that I can use my cleaner of choice!!

Best Purchase Ever

I absolutely LOOOOOVE this mop. It has cut my mopping time down to a 1/3 of what it used to take me. I love I can mix solution in the bottle instead of carrying a mop bucket around the house with me. I also have carpal tunnel in my right hand & it has eased my pain since I no longer have to ring out a mop any longer. And the fact that it's washable means I no longer have to search for replacements just to find the mop I had no longer exists. Great job Rubbermaid!!!

Brought this mop home with high hopes of an easier way to do things, filled the cleaner reservoir, assembled and pulled and pulled and pulled the trigger - nothing. It doesn't work at all.

We do apologize that you are having trouble with your Reveal Mop. Some tricks for use:
1. Run the tip of the bottle under warm water for up to a minute before inserting into the mop.
2. While the bottle is upside down (filled with water), push in on the nozzle to check that the water is being released.
3. Once the bottle has been clicked into the mop, you may need to "prime" the mop by pulling the trigger 20-30 times to pump the solution through.
If you feel your Rubbermaid item is defective and failed shortly after purchase, we ask that you contact our Consumer Services Department toll free at 888-895-2110, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST, M-F.
