I have been a longtime Swiffer user and was excited when the Reveal Mop came to market. I was tired of buying expensive cleaners and replacement pads and jumped at the chance to purchase this mop. (It was on sale, and I had a coupon). Next time I will wait until the product has been on the market longer. I've had this mop for about 6 months now, if not longer and LOVE the fact that I can fill it with my own cleaners, but the bottle seems to leak, especially when it's not in use, and my biggest pet peeve is that when I am mopping the handle separates from the mop head. I wasn't going to complain, but I see on here that it happens to others as well. Not sure why it's designed to come apart, but when I'm in the middle of mopping the floor, it's quite a pain. I usually LOVE all the Rubbermaid products I have, but I'm quickly falling out of love with this product. :(

I see where everyone seems to be having a problem with their mops heads keep coming off, or leaking bottles. Fortunately I have not had that problem. I think this mop is the greatest. Best part is I love the fact that I can just toss the pads in the laundry and then they are clean and ready to go again. No having to buy the Swiffer pads again.
Don't regret buying this mop!!!

Not as good as the Swifer Sweeper

I had recently bought that Swiffer Sweeper and really liked it when I saw the Reveal on tv. So I returned my Swiffer Sweeper and ordered a Reveal. I just got in in the mail and opened it immediately. I vaccummed my floor to get up what I could than put the Reveal in action! Only to be disappointed!!! The Swiffer Sweeper picked up cat hair and everything. This Reveal just pushed cat hair around and left it all over my floors. I thought it was maybe the mop head was full, so I put a new mop head on.... only to have the same problem!! Long story short, I am going out to re-purshase the Swiffer and I am trying to find out where I can return my Reveal to!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Reveal

The only issue I have had is that the pole broke where it starts at the bottom mop head area. I want another one but it will most likely do it again. I had a large headed sweeper before that and loved it too but the pad on it broke. Then I also had a shark and the hose in the inside blew up...what is the deal with cleaning mops and me....Is there one out there that will work with me and not against me?

This is the second micro-fiber mop I have for my hard wood floors. The only negative issue I have with it, is that the pad is not as good at not leaving streaks as another one that I have, and maybe this pad is not designed for hardwood floor cleaner. The idea is great and it works well.

does not get floors clean

I hate this mop! I bought it to replace a Swiffer, wanting to be more environmentally friendly. I 1st used the mop with hot water. No good. Then I used floor cleanser, still my floors are not clean. I'm going to have to go back to my old ways. I'm so dissapointed!

I purchased this mop after the local store was out of stock of the vileda version.
I am unsure why people are having the issues they are with the mop, I purchased the mop preassembled and have noticed no issues of it falling apart.
I love the mop so far, it's works great at cleaning up after my elderly kitty who has a few accidents a day.
I've also been using it to mop my kitchen which is linelium stick tiles and it's worked well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was so excited to get the Rubbermaid Reveal. We have stained concrete floors so I have a large area to mop and swiffer was costing a fortune. I love the mop so much. I am saving a ton of money and it cleans really well. The only problem is that the handle keeps popping off the mop head. If I really need to scrub the flood I am on my hands and knees. But for overall cleaning, I love it. Don't know what I would do without it.
