Good basic slow cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this slow cooker to test out, and immediately put it to work on chicken and dumplings. The unit started getting hot almost immediately, and the food cooked evenly. However, the handles aren't very well made, and feel like they are going to fall off when you pick the unit up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Slow-Cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slow cooker did a great job. It has a lot of space and is very durable. It provided the right cooking temperature and the chicken turned out very moist and tender. After dinner, it was very easy to clean. The residue wiped right off with soap and water. It is also very attractive. Would recommend this highly.

Nice color and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this slow cooker to replace an older on I had. The color was neat. I like the large handles on the side for easy moving. Easy to read settings and a decent sized knob made it easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is very eye catching. I love the color. It is also easy to clean with the removable stoneware pot. That I consider a necessary. It is a very nice slow cooker that functions well. There are no bells and whistles to it. It is a basic functioning well made slow cooker. I usually buy a smaller size slow cooker but found this one heated quickly and worked well. The only thing I would wish for would be a timer or shut off, to cook while you are away from home.

Fantastic slow cooker for the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are so many things I like about this slow cooker, that it's really a great buy for the price. First, I love that it has removable stoneware--I'm nervous of cheap nonstick anymore for possible cancer reasons. Also, I've used a crockpot with a non-stick metal liner, and things tended to burn and heat unevenly. Second, I love that it has a glass lid--I used to have an old stoneware unit, but the lid was also stoneware, and you'd have to raise the lid to check on things. Dishwasher-safe lid and liner is good, too.
Cons-I wish it was digital so that it would switch to warm after a certain number of hours, but it's workable.
I used it to cook a 3 lb. turkey breast, and it was just the right size for the turkey and a bunch of veggies, including potatoes and onions.
It's just so much better than what we used up until now, that we're very happy with it. Nice color, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this Black and Decker slow cooker for about a week now and I have enjoyed using it to cook for my family while I am away at work all day. Everything I have made in it has been cooked perfectly and it was no trouble to clean up afterward at all. It looks so pretty sitting on my counter, and I really love the color and style. This is a piece of kitchenware that I don't mind leaving out on my counter all the time since I use it frequently and it is very nice to look at. The only thing that would improve this would be a timer setting, but even that is not necessary, just an added convenience. The 7-quart size is perfect for my hungry family, and I can make extra to have left over as well. The cooker has worked perfectly for everything I used it to cook, and overall I am very happy with the quality and performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Huge size and fits a lot of food so this is great for large families and parties. I did get this free in exchange for an honest review. I Loved it I cooked bean soup in in and it turned out very good. I use slow cookers a lot and this one works very well. Why slave over a stove when you can just put everything in the slow cooker in the morning and have your food waiting at the end of your day? Plus in the summer your not heating up your house using one of these babies and the Teal is a real nice color. Get it. Use it. Love it.
