This cuts just about everything on any hedge. Thick branches. The battery is not light. But it’s a well balanced machine, a pleasure to use.

This hedge trimmer is easy to use even for somebody new to doing yard work like myself. It’s powerful and I like that it’s cordless and has a decent battery life so far, it also has good reach which is needed. It’s very durable but a little heavy for me but that could just be an issue for me and somebody else might not be bothered by the weight.

Powerful with a good reach but heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to Influenster and Senix for letting me try this 26 inch cordless hedge trimmer in exchange for my honest review. I previously used a smaller corded hedge trimmer and thought that it would be great to not have to deal with the cord since the plants I have to trim are far apart in my yard. With this being longer I also thought it would be easier to trim the top of my Japanese maple that does its best to grow as much as it can every year. What I wasn’t expecting is how heavy this would be. The shipping weight is shown to be 19 lbs. The battery alone weighs almost 4 lbs. It was very tiring holding it up to reach the top of the Japanese maple. And although it does swivel to different angles, I didn’t find it as simple as my corded trimmer to quickly change the angle, but that could also be because of it’s weight.
I took a before and after picture showing my Japanese maple. The trimmer did a good job. I’m sure my husband would not have minded the weight of it, but I am shower and wimpy, so in the end I prefer my smaller lighter corded trimmer for when I want to do a bunch of trimming. For smaller jobs, the convenience of the cordless trimmer will be great. The battery took about an hour to change, and I didn’t make a dent in the charge when I was done with the pictured tree and another.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good power for a hedge trimmer. Able to saw through 3/4 inch limbs with ease. Cuts smaller things like butter. Only used for 15 minutes but battery is still full. Rotating handle is awesome! Wow that's a great feature! Only used once, but seems well built. Feels heavy but seems heavy duty.
