Such a Simple Solution

I have been looking for a solution to keep one of our garages secure and this camera was perfect. That area of our property doesn't get any wifi signal so we needed something with a cellular connection that wouldn't break the bank or be impossible to set up. From opening the box to installing on the garage and getting a feed going, the whole process only took 15 minutes. I loved how I was able to choose a cellular plan right in the app and not have to mess with my existing phone service. So far, this has been a game changer!

Works great in the rural area that I live in. I had no problems connecting! The app is also super simple to use and easy to navigate from camera to camera.

You cannot use a cable lock or any lock on this camera. You can't use the same APP as your hunting cameras or at least they are too busy to let me know why.
No camera screen to set up or check battery life. Also, a little thought would be have a 110v option for a security camera, huh.. why didn't I think of that.

Don’t buy this for security

This camera is slow and misses a lot of photos, I set the motion to high have a rechargeable battery installed and have not been able for it to catch the action also poor picture quality unless you pay extra for HD , if you going to advertise it as a security camera it should work like one!

Hi Nick, Sorry to hear you've had some issues! Our customer service team is happy to help troubleshoot your setup. If you are trying to capture fast moving vehicles, we recommend angling the camera about 45 degrees towards the direction of travel.

Tree Mounting Hardware worries me. 9.5/10!

GREAT camera. the ONLY uncertainty I have upon unboxing is the strength of the plastic backed mounting bracket. From tree to camera, the attachment is, plastic, metal, metal. It may work flawlessly, but the weight of the camera coming off that plastic mounting bracket worries me. I like overkill. That said, I feel like it has been tested time and time again before launch, as with anything Tactacam deploys. SO FAR, love it.

Good quality pics. Easy to set up. I use it for security. I haven’t figured out a way to pause it when I am around. It took 245 pics the other day of a contractor. I don’t see much difference between the defend and reveal. If I was to do it over again I would purchase a dedicated security camera by another manufacturer

Just set one up at my land and shop.... Seems to function as intended. Very happy with the app. Plus can turn off motion when I go work there to not send pics, and then turn motion back on after I leave. Seems to detect well, and I purchased the solar battery and the lithium for the camera, and after 2 weeks both are still on 100%. Install took maybe 1 hour... So far I am happy and impressed with the viewing range, detection range, and pics day / night
