[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased for our son for Christmas. He loves it, is having a lot of fun.
Downside would be finding the proper space to use it without hitting things. Also the format out of the box can be a little front heavy, dragging down on the face a bit. It makes some of the aftermarket straps (with additional battery) look appealing.
As a bonus, it can be quite entertaining to watch someone play on it, as they do look quite funny.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve been using the Meta Quest 3S for a while now, and overall it’s been a great experience. At the beginning I did have some eye strain, but after adjusting the fit and getting used to it, that completely went away.
The visuals are sharp, performance is smooth, and setup was quick. The mixed reality features feel next level and make everything more immersive. I also got a cable to connect it to my PC so I can play PC VR games, which really expands the experience.
I’ve had a few issues entering Meta Worlds at times, but it hasn’t taken away from the overall enjoyment. The airplane and flight games are my favorite. They feel incredibly realistic, sometimes almost too real, which makes them amazing.
Overall, the Meta Quest 3S is a solid headset and great value. I’m really enjoying it and would definitely recommend it.

Got them to play Half Life Alyx and to complete my racing sim. No complaints apart from default headstrap, would really suggest picking a bobovr headstrap for comfort and better battery backup.
