Make Your Life Easy - Hang It Where You Use It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just replenished my supply of the 6 or 7 different types of Command hooks and cord-keepers I always keep on-hand in my workshop, including a 9-pack of these handy, small Wire Hooks. I uses them all over the house to hang my most-frequently used small tools exactly where they are used the most.
In the kitchen, I constantly use small scissors, wire snippers for cutting cable ties, and two kinds of slim, needle-nose pliers, which help me remove those tenacious foil seals from new plastic bottles of coffee creamer. (I don't have the finger strength and dexterity to do it by hand.)
I first mounted these tools on the refrigerator using a smaller, lighter-duty Command plastic hook, but my wife wasn't too happy with the appearance. (The tools, not the hooks!) Looking around the kitchen, I found a better spot: the side of our counter-top microwave, closest to the wall. Here, the tools would be mostly hidden from view but still readily available when needed.
This is where the Command strips really pay dividends because I had to remove the plastic hooks from the fridge, which I did exactly according to the package instructions; and those little foam adhesive strips stretch out quite long, growing thinner as you pull them downward, until they finally pull right out from under the hook, and off it comes; no mess or sticky glue-residue left behind. Marvelous!
Don't draw the conclusion this means the adhesive doesn't hold well; on the contrary, you better be sure of where you stick these hooks because once those glue strips are pressed down for 30 seconds, they achieve great adhesion to the mounting surface that is almost permanent. Trying to pull the hooks straight off doesn't work; you have to pull down on the hanging tab of foam, just as described above.
I decided to use these Small Wire Hooks because the U-shape of the wire provides a generous amount of length and curvature; perfect for hanging things that straddle the hook on either side, like the cutter and pliers in the pictures I've posted.
I love the Command products; they are easy to mount, easy to remove; and can be remounted simply by using another adhesive strip. I probably have 50 of these things all over the house and small tools are right where I need them. Try them out - they are priced right - a good value; and you can position your favorite devices perfectly; where they will make menial tasks easier to accomplish.

I hung 6 power outlet surge bar with just my cell phone charge & alarm clock plugged in & after a week it fell pulling piece of my wall off. Also had a small light that couldn't of weighed more than 2 or 3 lbs from the ceiling and it stayed for about 2 years and 2 weeks ago it fell tearing piece of my ceiling off
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent for hanging Christmas decorations

I used these to hang homemade Christmas decorations and they were great! I took down the decorations but decided to leave the hooks because I knew I would be using them again for more decorating. Had to take them down recently to paint the walls and they came off easily.

I use these through out the years in our different rvs from tent trailers to 5th wheels and they are light and great for holding my utensils on the walls of our rv

Excellent for decorating

I bought these to assist me with Christmas decorating and they did not disappoint. They were easy to use, fit where I needed them to, and are holding up well. They hold up everything from signs to stockings.

Perfect for hanging umbrellas!!

I love these inside the closer for hanging umbrellas, they are handy, but out of the way. I love this hook also for my pantry closet. The latest thing I hung up was my Aim n flame ligjter.

It didn't give me an option to give LESS than 1 star...
I purchased these hoping to do a picture collage in our living room 9 frames on each side of our TV. so I used 18 total command hooks. by the end of the day of hanging all but 3 had fallen off the wall, picture frame and everything.. ripping chunks of our wall off in the process! I took the other 3 off my self in the 'no mess, damage free' way.. FALSE.. took off huge chunks of our wall.. not just paint, but actual WALL! so I had to use hammer and nail.. at least we know those work.. but now I have 18 huge marks on our living room wall! and one in our bathroom.. I will NEVER buy these again! I am SO MAD!

Easy to use

I bought these about 6 weeks ago to use on the inside of the doors beneath the kitchen cabinets. I can now clean out my drawers and hang some of the items
that were taking up space. Love them!!!
