i lived in new orleans and am very accustomed to bold coffee roasted with chicory, so i love a bold, exciting coffee. this, however, doesn't do it for me. it's got a strange bitter aftertaste which isn't nice at all. if you like a bold, you're better off with something like Sbux Sumatra or Black Tiger.
I am a fan of Tully's coffee's however, their Italian Roast disappointed me. It seems to be lacking something and does not have enough flavor, for an Italian Roast. I prefer the Barista Prima Italian Roast over this one.
Pros: Balanced Acidity, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Not Bitter, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor
Tully's Italian Roast has the body, the flavor, and the full aroma I like in a special cup of coffee. It also packs the caffein that I need to get through boring afternoon meetings. As a special treat, it makes GREAT iced coffee - the flavor holds up to ice.
Perfect cup of dark coffee! Not at all acidic, most dark coffees seem to be either very acidic or slightly acidic. No bad after taste! As said previously, perfect!
I like this in the afternoon as apposed to Emeril's which I also like, that's more for the morning wake up call then the Tully's. This Tully's is one of the best overall blends of the many K-Cups that I've tried!
I usually enjoy strong coffee, but this was just bitter. I didn't taste any coffee flavor, just bitterness, with a sour aftertaste. I had this coffee in my travel mug on my way to work in the morning. After one sip, I had to drive directly to a drive-through for a different drink, and I dumped this foul liquid. Just thinking about this stuff makes me cringe, I don't know why anyone would drink this.
