I know coffees and this particular one just tasted burned and undrinkable to me.. poured it out and went with my Sumatran.I know what a dark roast should taste like and this wasn't it.
Cons: Unpleasant Aftertaste, Unpleasant Flavor, Unappealing Or Flat Aroma
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A coffee to savor

I find myself choosing this above other good choices when I want something, dark, rich and smooth. Some French roasts are a bit too bitter or have a thin body. If there were only one k-cup option, this would do it for me! Good for breakfast and mid-afternoon. Green Mountain extra bold dark Sumatra is a very close second.
Pros: Rich, Smooth Taste, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Pleasing Roast

I really love the coffee I like my coffee really strong it's great you don't have to wait 5 minutes the only down side is you should be able to buy more then 24 K Cups at a time how come you only sale them in 12 to 24 boxes why not put a 100 in a box and I do not like to try to put my own coffee in it . It leaves a mess to try to clean up. Yes I know I can buy more then one box at a time but that would cost a lot of money that's my only down side in drink 3 to 4 cups a day so think of the cost please make more K Cups available in one box of all your coffee you sale

This one was too bitter and strong for me also. I do like strong coffee, but maybe the Keurig isn't the best avenue for this one!

Best dark roast k-cup

I love this coffee. It has great dark roast flavour, but is smooth. That first sip in the morning is a great way to start the day.

This is the best coffee I have purchased from Keurig or received as a sample. May be strong for some but this tastes like coffee should. Love it in the late morning, mid afternoon, and when I have to drive for a while. Tastes as good in a single large travel mug or single coffee cup.
