I use the Avery Name Badges to celebrate students' accomplishments such as academic achievement, behavior, good citizenship, neat desks, and participation. When the child leaves at the end of the day with these badges on their clothes, the parents and family members go wild. Hugs. Kisses. At home, the students take off their badges from their shirts and stick them in a notebook. Their Brag Badge collection grows. They become a reminder about excellent work and behavior. I use permanent marker to write the student's name and reason to celebrate. Teachers are continually looking for ways to celebrate their students' work without investing deeply into budgets. The Avery Name Badges to the trick!

I conduct home jewelry stlye shows and use these nametags. I love the fact that they do not damage the fabric of my guests clothing. Plus the adhesive backing is strong enough to hold the badges in place for hours.

I work for an airlines in Honolulu, Hawaii and as a community service, the company provides a free "Keiki Airport Tour" to school children (Preschool through High School). I created a name tag for each student or child to wear during the tour here at the Honolulu International Airport. They love wearing them and especially the little ones are so proud to see their names printed on the labels. I print them with our company logo and a graphic of our aircraft along with each child's name and school/organization. It's a great way to "personalize" our tours! Thank you!

Poor Adhesive

Recently printed 300+ name badges for a fundraising event. Many complaints about difficulty with the labels staying on. Most embarrassing, one of the speakers tried to keep his attached to lapel and after 20 minutes it just fell off while he was at the podium. Very disappointing.

PAPER IS NOW TOO LIGHT WEIGHT

Why did you change what was once a good product? The paper quality is now not heavy enough to print correctly. The sheets immediately curl after they go through the printer. Once separated, we lay the name tags out in alpha order for guests to pick up and they won't lay flat and look terrible. The edges curl up and they won't stick to certain fabrics.

Jam in Printer

These have usually been the go to for name badges for our organization's events and volunteer days, however, they have recently started getting jammed in my high quality HP's fuser. I can most other label products, but something about these labels make them jam now. About a year ago I was able to run these through with no problem, but something seems to be off about them now. I have to run them through the bigger lower quality printers to get them to even print.
I think they could benefit from the blue textured strip that other Avery labels have, along with a slightly less glossy finish to make printing easier.

Hello, I am sorry to hear that these cards are jamming in your HP printer. Some tips I have found helpful is to change the Paper/Media type to Heavyweight/Cardstock. This setting is typically in the Page Setup in the pdf or on the printer directly, where it should also be set to Best Quality. I've also found with some printers, it is best to print one page at a time to avoid jamming.
