But now I know better! These are really great scissors. They are sharp and comfortable. The works really great around the house. I used them for gift wrapping and cutting fabrics! They are just great!

Super Scissors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blades are strong! I mean really strong! The package claims they are 8X harder than stainless steel and I'm definitely convinced of that. I decided to to put them to a comparison test. I cut through 20 sheets of paper using these scissors and my very best pair of scissors. When I used the Westcott CarboTitanium Scissors I had absolutely no problem cutting through all 20 sheets. Using my other scissors (my best ones) I struggled quite a bit to cut through these 20 sheets. It was hard to get a picture that showed it...but hopefully you can see what I'm talking about.
They are so comfortable on my fingers while cutting. They have a contoured soft grip handles which also allowed me to get a good grip while cutting. Nice!

Smooth Cutting Comfort & Safe Storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 8" straight scissor works well with heavier materials like corrugated cardboard, shirt cardboard, laminated index card stock and plastic canvas. Didn't have any foam board around to try it on but will see how it cuts when I get some. Luv the comfortable grip and the ease it cuts thru the materials named. My hands didn't cramp up for the longer sessions of use.
Also, liked the recycled use of the blister wrap to be a safety sleeve holder for the scissors with blades slightly expanded when storing in crafts drawer. When blades are closed, easy removal from the package; when ajar,scissors hold nicely in the package( see photos). Kudos to the package designers who probably were anticipating the packaging be in the trash heap.
