Love the aroma, love the thick full body and the carmel aftertones. Hits all the right notes for a good dark roast.
Pros: Pleasing Roast, Not Bitter, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Pleasing Aroma, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Smooth Taste

Perfect "french roast" flavor, smoky and smooth. I use the largest setting (on 5 setting machine) and it comes out perfect! Tested several french roast and bold flavor k cups and this is the best!
Pros: Pleasing Roast, Not Bitter, Smooth Taste, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Aroma
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of the best K-cups

A couple of other reviews of this K-cup are ridiculous. This is one of the best coffees available in K-cup format. It is also one of the most widely available. Dark and bold, but not overly so. Pretty crisp finish.
Pros: Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Balanced Acidity, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Not Bitter

This coffee may be attractive to some, but it's just not my cup of tea. I mean coffee.
Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Very Strong

I myself use a little lowfat milk in my coffee. I love the finish of this coffee. I had a good variety of K-cups for the holidays. My mother said this was her favorite too.
Pros: Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma, Smooth Taste, Balanced Acidity, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body

My Absolute Favorite

This complex blend of earthy tastes may not be for everyone (fainthearted coffee pretenders) but it's my absolute favorite. The slightly smokey, earthy taste is pure heaven. Since I can't find Gloria Jean's Sumatra anymore Tully's French Roast is my hands down favorite with Coffee People's Organic a close runner up!
Pros: Not Bitter, Pleasing Roast, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Pleasing Aroma
I would recommend this to a friend!

True Frensch Roast Flavor

I am a dark roast coffee drinker (French and Italian) and drink several cups in the morning. I drink tea after lunch. Lighter coffee roasts, even the expensive, gourmet ones, always taste and smell like convenience store coffee to me. I routinely buy green beans and roast at home in a Roast-2 roaster. I also grind my beans daily and avoid storing roasted coffee beans for any length of time. I bought a Keurig 70 recently because my coffee makers just don't heat the water enough. A Melitta manual system and boiling water is too much trouble. I also wanted the convenience of brewing what I need and providing options for others to drink what they like, instead of my dark roasts. I bought and sampled many K-cups and so far the Tully's French Roast Extra Bold is the only thing that comes close to what I roast and brew in terms of boldness, body, taste, and aroma. Other cups, even in the small brew sizes, are too weak and watery for my taste. I have ordered the Tully's Italian and the decaf French and will see how those fare. I would like to buy mini K cup paper filters for brewing my own coffee without the residual oils that are not filtered with the reusable Keurig filter K Cup. I don't know if these are available.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Smooth Taste
I would recommend this to a friend!
