Coffee was nice and bold, but bitter. I don't know if it is the coffee or the machine. Usually overly hot water can cause bitterness in coffee.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Bitter taste

What can be said about the French that hasn't already been said a hundred times before? They like their wine, long lunches and strong coffee and this is a strong coffee. This blend from Tully's has been a favourite since I started with the K-cups. I'm assured of a dark coffee that would be perfectly at home on a sidewalk cafe in Paris without the cost or the attitude of the waiters. Definitely a keeper.
One of the first roasts I tried, and I was not disappointed. Make sure you don't exceed 8 ounces, or it will taste watered down. Full-bodied with a strong, but not too bitter, after taste. Great morning brew!
