Too strong

I was not pleased with this flavor. It was too bitter and strong and left a horrible after taste.

Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Unpleasant Aftertaste, Unpleasant Flavor

The old blend was excellent, good flavor and perfect boldness. The new blend should have been noted.

Not worth my time

Tried the sample that came with my brewer. It was good enough to actually finish the whole cup. It was my first cup of coffee in the morning, after all. But there are far better coffees out there. This is a French Roast and I was expecting something bold, but it isn't quite bold enough. Won't be drinking any more of this.

Burnt, over smokey taste

Strong burnt flavor. Awful aftertaste. Almost like drinking liquid smoke. I took the box of cups to work to give away and nobody wanted it. Ended up in the trash.

My absolute favorite

I have tried many of the bold dark roasts. This is my favorite by far. Not so bold that it just tastes overly strong like some do. It's smooth with a rich satisfying flavor.
Pros: Smooth Taste, Pleasing Aroma, Not Bitter, Pleasing Roast

This coffee came with a sample pack and I am glad it did. Not a good french roast at all.

If you are a real coffee drinker..

After getting the Keurig, it has been difficult to find a coffee pod strong enough to not taste watery. The Tully's extra bold are just right! Can use the middle size cup setting and it's perfect.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma, Smooth Taste, Pleasing Roast

Roasted well, but overwhelming spice notes that are not balanced by the depth of the roast. Akin to drinking cigarette smoke.
