I am usually a coffee drinker favoring moderate to bold roast but this coffee is convincing me to lean more toward the bolder coffees from now on. Its flavor is sophisticated, if that term can be used to apply to coffee. Overall, a new experience that I am enjoying very much.

This is the best French Roast, and my go to brand. It's bold enough to satisfy my coffee taste, but not bitter like some. All it needs is a spot of cream and I'm all set. Usually I drink it hot. Sometimes I make a 16 oz. with my Keurig in a 2 cup measure, let it cool a bit, then pour it over ice. Delicious.Bold enough to hold up to the ice without tasting watered down. Great coffee.

For a French Roast I think this is a very versatile blend. I normally only like a hint of smokiness. That means I lean toward the medium roasts mostly but I gave this a try and I am very pleased. Strong but very smooth. Just good in my opinion.
