This thing is awesome! You can set the range of how far you want it to pick up. I’ve read reviews about how it stops picking up motion. I personally haven’t had this issue. I’m able to see who comes up before they ring the door bell. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I love this! All of the ring products are fantastic but this helps ease my mind whenever I’m away from home. I can see my packages get delivered, see when people walk up to my door, etc. i also like the two way audio so i can let people know i am not home. highly recommend!

The ring keeps an eye on the entire exterior of your home. The doorbell is connected via Wi-Fi to the Ring app. The app will alert you when anyone is on your property, or any crime is committed in the neighborhood. If someone is on your property or at your doorbell the Ring can provide a picture, video, time stamp & one on one conversation!

I had to join the Ring club. Everyone has one, so installation can’t be that hard, right? Let me tell you, I’m a very detailed oriented person, and these instructions lack detail. Like, how long does it take for the battery to charge? No clue, so far, two hours. Which way does the tilt face place go on? Keep trying, you’ll figure it out. For install, this sucks. I’m certain I’ll love the actual product though.

Hello leshoc,
Thank you for sharing your Ring installation experience with us. We understand how important it is to have clear instructions when installing your Ring Video Doorbell. The instructions we include with your device, along with the Ring app should provide clear guidance on the device set up and installation. We're here to answer your questions and help where we can.
Your Ring battery will take around five to 10 hours to fully charge, depending on whether the USB cable is plugged into a USB port or into a wall outlet. You'll know when the device is fully charged when the LED lights on the battery are solid green.
To properly install your Wedge Kit or Corner Mount, you'll need to face the flat side towards the wall. We've dedicated a page with detailed instructions, including a video tutorial, to guide our users through the process. We've included it below for refrence.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, we kindly ask that you reach out to our Ring Community forum, to have a more hands-on experience with other users like yourself: https://community.ring.com/.
All the best, Marlom at Ring

My husband and I love our ring! We both work during the day, so it is nice to be able to answer the door when we are not home. We are prime shoppers so we get a lot of packages at our house.

The doorbell is absolutely amazing. The video quality is really good. When the doorbell works, it's 100 percent worth the money. However, it keeps disconnecting constantly from the wifi and then to make it work again, you have to take the doorbell off and do the entire setup process again, which is a big pain.

Hello partyjen,
Thank you for detailing your experience with your Ring Video Doorbell. We understand where you are coming from, as this isn't the experience we want our customers to have. Once set up, this doorbell should remain connected to your home wifi with no problems. Our team is here to help find the best way forward.
If your Ring doorbell disconnects from wifi, it is designed to automatically reconnect to the same network. Should the doorbell not reconnect, or keep falling offline, the issue is likely related to the wifi network in use.
Please visit the 'Device Health' section of your Ring app to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. Ring devices generally work best within the range of 0 to -60 RSSI. 'Device Health' also allows you to test your wifi network, and offers solutions to common problems. Please reference this article to learn more:
If basic troubleshooting does not resolve the issue, you will need to make some adjustments to your router. Here is an article that goes into more detail:
We would love to hear your feedback on how we might improve this experience for you, and kindly ask for your feedback to be directed to our Ring Community page on Ring.com: https://community.ring.com/.
My best, Marlom at Ring

I like having the Ring Doorbell so I know who comes to my door. I don't like that there is a delay in the video. It starts recording after the person has walked by and I dont see anyone on the video. My wifi connection is fine but I get really nervous when I get a package delivered because if someone takes it, the delay in recording wont show a face
