So convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ring doorbell is a great upgrade to your house since it offers so much convenience! The set up is quite easy if you are technically capable and are used to mobile apps. I wish the product was good to go go with all its features when you buy it but you need a paid subscription to leverage all Ring’s features. Regardless, the basic function of the doorbell is still amazing to help you see what’s going on outside your door. You don’t have to buy batteries either since you can charge it with a USB cord. Battery life has been good so far!

It provides high definition video, two-way audio, and adjustable motion zones, allowing users to customize what areas trigger notifications. This makes it effective in reducing false alerts, especially in busy areas. A key benefit is its removable, rechargeable battery, which makes it ideal for renters or anyone avoiding hardwiring, though it can be wired if preferred.
While it delivers essential functionality, it does lack a pre-roll feature available on higher models like the Ring Doorbell 4. Pre-roll captures a few seconds of footage before a motion event, which can be helpful for added context. The Doorbell 3 supports privacy zones, multiple Wi-Fi frequencies which seamlessly integrates well with am Amazon Alexa (helpful since we have quite a few).. However, the Google Assistant integration is limited, which might be a downside depending on your smart home setup.
In my personal experience, the product feels durable and well-constructed. The packaging was neat and intact, with no damage during delivery, adding to the sense of quality. Installation was straightforward, even for someone without much technical expertise. Overall, it’s a practical choice if you prioritize ease of use and flexibility, but the lack of advanced features like pre-roll might feel like a compromise for some people.

Easy installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am reviewing the ring doorbell third generation it was pretty darn easy to install. it works with Alexa so that you can get your alerts. I do like the fact that the battery can be charged without removing the entire doorbell. Hopefully the charge last for quite some time. the only downside that I can really give is that it requires a ring subscription. I believe it’s what it’s called to access the footage that you have recorded.

Love that I can see who is at my door whether I’m home or not. Video quality is pretty clear and the app functions well. Battery life is good for about 6 months at a time. Super easy to install.

affordable Security and Doorbell

Trying the Ring was a easy Installion abd setup takes some time to get the preference you like. The quality is more than appears with the two way sound and microphone. The Motion detection settings is neat because you can set the area you wish to detech motion. I have been pleased with my Ring and battery life depends on how often its triggered and how often you leave the unit active. I recommend the Ring to people who needs some security at a much affordable price.

This is the best doorbell camera I have tried. I like that I can set how far the camera will detect and notify me so I’m not constantly receiving notifications of the bush moving in the wind. Easy to set up, app is easy to use. The battery life is decent so we bought a solar panel.

Not bad but I expected more than that…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using it for awhile now as my camera door bell. The picture works great at night time. The view is wide, I can see 3 houses across my house not like some other cameras only can show narrow view just only 1 house in front of mine. The sound is very clear. If you only use it as camera, it only takes you 5mins to install but if you use it as door bell as well, it will take approx 10mins or so because it needs to connect with wires, but the direction will tell you exactly what you need to do. Some people said they need to charge it often, but mine works for few months then recharge it for 6 hours and it will be good to go for another few months. I use other Ring cameras as well so I had to buy the subscription to easy control all of them and to view back which I don’t really like because it’s pricey. And another thing I don’t like is when you want to view the history, it only shows you the ones that had motions, sometimes it missed the motions when people showed up so quick so I wanted to come back and check for the whole thing, found out it doesn’t show you the whole day recording minute by minute like I expected which is really disappointed to me. After then that, it works well to me.
