I’m very satisfied form the product, everything is easy to use and i have access to my home from anywhere, just if they bring price little down will be great.

Getting Slower

I have had the 2 for several weeks now. Things of note are that it's much slower to respond than the original was. Also, the FedEx driver seems to be able to sneak in and out without being captured. If I turn on the setting to verify humans, the response time is slower still. Lastly, I put the camera on the same wedge as the previous and it does not capture as much downward. I'm already using 2 wedges and I don't want to have the camera stick out any more than it already does. Ring needs to handle the adjustment with a pan and tilt function and not move the camera.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for reaching out regarding this concern. We want to ensure that you have a Ring Doorbell you can rely on for your home security. You should be able to count on your Ring Video Doorbell - (2020 Release) for accurate motion detection and timely Ring alerts. Our team is here to help find a solution with you.

We appreciate the troubleshooting you have done thus far. To ensure this isn't a delay or issue with the internet connection, please reboot your router. You can power it down for one minute or so, then allow it to come back online.

Once your network is back and working, your doorbell will automatically reconnect. Without changing any motion settings, please test your device for improvements.

If there are no improvements, please ensure you have enabled Advanced Motion Detection.

- Tap the three lines on the top left of the screen.
- Tap Devices.
- Select your Ring Video Doorbell
- Tap the Motion Settings menu tile and select Advanced Settings.
- Enable Advanced Motion Detection.

You can then create up to 3 motion zone shapes to help improve the accuracy of motion detection. Below is an article that goes into more detail.

Great Product and Great Customer Support

I have had two video doorbells and two Chime Pros for several years. One of the doorbells' battery stopped taking a charge after about five years and I replaced it with a Gen 2 unit - which works perfectly, as all my RING units do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When it works it is great

We have only the Ring doorbell, so this is specifically about that. I think the product is great, when it works. For some reason, every day for about 4-5 hours it disconnects from the network and does not function. After a while it reconnects and is fine. When the doorbell disconnects, all other products connected to the network (PC, Notebook, iPads, etc.) still function fine, so I doubt it is the network. Resetting the router does not always work. Trying to figure out. If I can resolve that issue the product is 5-stars.

We completely understand the relevance of having your device online and connect to your wifi network, as this ensures you can access the camera to check on activity around your home anytime day or night.

If you happen to have a wifi extender, you can use it to better reach your Ring doorbell with your wifi. Aside from improving the signal reach, it can also help bring your internet's speed with it.
