Ring doorbell

We’ve had our ring doorbell for a few years. While I like the ability to see who’s at the door I find it’s not accurate. We are constantly having to adjust the sensitively settings. My notifications are delayed, by the time I get the notification and open the app whosoever at the door is usually gone. The audio quality is terrible, the person talking into the doorbell voice is broken up. Again I like that I see see my front door but I wouldn’t purchase another ring product.

It sounds like you have some concerns with delayed notifications and poor audio quality. Both of these concerns can be caused by a poor wifi connection. To resolve these concerns, we recommend checking the following things first:
Check for low upload speeds. To determine whether or not the delayed notifications or poor audio quality is caused by low upload speeds, run a speed test from your PC or mobile device while connected to the same wifi access point to determine if your network can support Ring devices.
Check for poor signal strength. A poor wifi signal can cause connectivity with your Ring device to be unreliable. Check the Device Health section of your Ring application to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range.

Great product, easy to use, easy to set up, easy to install, great video resolution, alerts to your phone, great option for a very affordable price! Easy additional ring you buy can be hooked up in tandem so 1 app is all you need no matter how many ring(s) you have.

Wish I hardwired it in…

The video quality is amazing! I had a really hard time installing because I have a brick house and I really did not want to drill into it. The motion detection picks up all the way to the road so it even picks up cars driving by. Battery life is OK, I just wish it was hotwired in. Because I will forget to recharge it seems to work fine!

This doorbell is a life savor and so is the community on the app. Not only can you see what’s going on in your area but you can see if someone is either trying to break into your house or if a package was delivered. Overall it’s amazing high recommend!!

Feel safe as a single mother with this

I feel so much better living as a single mother with this camera. I can see who comes to my door and I can also catch any movement. There has been a lot of thefts around my neighborhood so it gives me piece of mind having this in case it were to ever happen to me.

A Good Doorbell Camera

I do like the added sense of security that my ring camera gives. The video quality is pretty good and usually I can make things out clearly. The battery also lasts for a very long time. I do wish the motion detection was a bit faster but it has worked really well for our family.

Love this video doorbell. It has good video quality and I like that you can speak to people through it when they are at your door. The motion detection can be very sensitive but that can also be adjusted in app.
