We loved our Ring doorbell. It provides us with an extra sense of security and always worked well. It was easy to connect to WiFi and the videos and recordings were always clear and easily played back.

Found this doorbell for a really good price and set it up right away. It’s awesome, even if a bug flys by ur catches it. Safety too. Can look who’s at ur door from ur phone!

Necessity for my home

The doors of my home have no peepholes so this doorbell is very convenient. I can see anyone who passes my front yard and the video is very clear on my phone.

Awesome for Safety!

I love my Ring Doorbell. With it, I’m able to view live footage of my front door in the comfort of my room. I’m also able to playback videos. I feel so much safer at home!

The ring door bell is a must have. It is so helpful to be able to see who is at the door or what time a package was delivered. Such a sense of security as well.

The doorbell works really well at doing exactly what you need it to and it connects to your phone which is great. The only downside is you get a notification from the app whenever it senses motion. Even when a car passes or someone walks past the house.

It sounds like you are getting notifications for more motion than you are wanting. You can refine your motion alerts to distinguish between people and other motions using smart alerts. Smart Alerts are available for battery-powered, solar, plug-in, and wired Ring devices. To enable smart alerts:
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left.
Tap Devices.
Tap the device that you want to adjust.
Tap Motion Settings.
Tap Smart Alerts.
Tap Enable Feature.
Tap Continue.
Select the notification options that you want for Person and Other Motion.
You'll see a video camera where you can select or de-select recording and a bell icon to represent alert notifications.
After you've adjusted your settings, tap Done.
