Nothing really needs to be said at this point and everybody has one. Only problem I have it the finish has worn off in the weather. For something that's means to be outside it should last in the elements better

Great way to keep an eye on things…

We have had this ring for a few years now. My only grudge is that it always starts the recording late, so we usually only see people walking away from it. Also the ring notification is very delayed inside of the house. Usually by about 45 seconds to 1 minute… I’m sure there is a way to set sensitivity, but regardless, it should automatically record as soon as there is motion. Especially when you pay a monthly fee.

Great at making you feel safe

Ring offers the convenience of knowing your home is safe even when you're not around. I would highly recommend any of their cameras! I feel so much better knowing I can view even on my phone. Packages come quite a bit and it's also nice to view exactly what is going on aty front porch door.

Clearest video ever

I received this doorbell as a gift and I absolutely love it. I do have quite a few things delivered to my home and this lets me keep track of each one. I love that I am alerted as soon as the delivery is about to reach my porch and can follow how the delivery driver does. If you would like to keep track of what comes and goes to your home this is a great option.

Not worth the hype

This worked well to be alerted and be able to view my kids out in the front yard but it went off when the rocking chairs blew on the porch or the dogs came up or a spider crawled over it so basically, it went off all the time.

It sounds like your motion settings may need additional changes in order to ensure you are only receiving valid alerts. Motion Frequency allows you to tweak your motion detection protocols to provide a balance between consistent alerts and preserving battery life. Ring's Smart Alert algorithm is an internal program that runs inside your Ring device. It analyzes the traffic patterns of detected motions, looking for repetitive patterns. When it detects such a pattern, it essentially "sleeps" your device for a certain period of time, cutting down on the number of motion alerts you'll get from the same set of stimuli. The more times a repetitive pattern of motion continues, the longer the time between issuing motion alerts. Everyone should have one of these!

Love this doorbell for it's features and sleek design! I love that I can see who is at my door before answering and while I am away. I also love that I get alerts about packages and can detect theft using the Ring app. A few dislikes is you have to pay for a subscription in order to get accurate notifications and video playback. If you don't have the subscription you will still get notifications but you won't be able to playback and your camera will literally pick up every movement such as a flag blowing or heavy winds. There has also been times where I got false doorbell rings due to the sensitivity of the doorbell, which can be a little odd especially in the middle of the night. Overall, I love using my Ring doorbell it helps my home feel more secure.

I’ve had the Ring Doorbell for quite a while now. This is the first Ring product I purchased and decided to try the cameras. I owe 8 of their products and love them. You’re home away from home.
