Value choice with decent features

Got this doorbell at a very attractive low price and it has some of the main great features that the pro models have. The best Ring doorbell has 2K resolution I believe but it’s very expensive for what it offers. I don’t need the package view because I have a stickup cam that shoots at the doorstep so it’s covered. The video quality is 1080p, probably not true 1080p especially compared to the other Ring security cameras that have the same resolution but they definitely have better footage than this. However, considering the price especially during yearly sales events, this is such a great deal. Motion detection works fine. Works with Alexa seamlessly. I don’t have a chime to go along with it but I have two echo dots and two echo shows to act as the chimes. They work pretty well together.
If you don’t plan to have any other security cameras in your front yard or wherever you plan to install this doorbell, then I’d suggest going with the pro models. If you do already have a decent camera with decent resolution around that area then just get this to up your existing dumb doorbell one level higher. The footage is usable in close range.

After getting your house broken into, it’s hard to feel fully safe. We added a Ring Doorbell to our house and it’s help provided that additionally reassurance to who is approaching our door and video surveillance.

got this doorbell after i switched from the wired version! it works super well and connects to my alexa so it’s easy for me to see who ran my doorbell as well as keep track throughout the day with my phone! there is also a microphone and speaker so you can communicate with visitors even when you’re not home!

Very helpful and picks up audio well. I check this almost daily and it helps monitor my front door. The app is a little difficult to maneuver, but otherwise great and worth the price.

I few of my friends have this exact model of doorbell and they love it. Personally, I see it as more of a nuisance than helpful because of number of alerts my friends receive about unnecessary things. I wouldn’t purchase one, but everyone I know who has purchased it LOVES IT
