I have never felt so protected in my life, this is an awesome product to keep eye on pets outside, make sure nothing gets stolen, you can communicate with people through it and watch live feed ! I was able to get mine free from referrals !

My husband finally bought one knowing he works nights with myself & child home. I feel so much safer and never have to answer the door again, thanks to the intercom option. The images are clear! I recommend using the wedge if you live off a busy street, as this picks up larger vehicles often.

Best thing EVER!!!!! I love the wide range that this tiny doorbell offers! We got the rechargeable ring because we didnt have a hardwire available and I was a little skeptical because of battery life but it only needs charged about 2 times a month. This is one of the perfect door monitoring, the only downside for this one will be the monthly subscription. But if you don’t care about it then this could a a good solution for your doorbell plus camera device. Also I love the Ring community, you will have massive interaction with people around your vicinity.

Ring a ding dinggggg. To be honest, I’m not a fan of the ring or it’s lack of chiming when the doorbell is rung. The video is grainy and wasn’t able to capture any of the incidents that occurred, kinda defeating its purpose. It looks cool and serves somewhat as a deterrent though. However I won’t be purchasing anything ring related again.

Having an audio alert for doorbell dings is an important feature to be working properly for you, as well as accurate motion notifications. These features ensure you are aware of wanted or unwanted visitors as they approach your doorway. Rest assured, we are here to provide you solutions to both of these concerns you mentioned.
The Ring Video Doorbell (2020 release) is compatible with AC-powered door chimes operating between 8-24 volt AC transformers, but is not compatible with wireless door chimes or any chime/intercom system using a DC transformer. Please find a list of doorbell chimes we have tested and confirmed work with this device: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360053138112-Ring-Video-Doorbell-2020-release-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List.
Ring devices detect motion patterns and frequency. The Motion Frequency controls help adjust the devices for repetitive patterns of motion. We would suggest you increase this setting to "frequently" if you noticed some events were missed.
