I got two units. They are supposed to be rechargeable, but neither of them will charge.

Does not last long with constant use

I work night shift for a majority of my week and as such I needed a flashlight that could withstand the day-to-day use. I got this flashlight thinking that it would be the best fit but after only a month of use it had a catastrophic failure where the rubber O-ring for the focusing sleeve popped out inside of the LED light causing it to melt the LED itself making it unusable without risk of a fire. My many attempts to look up how to remove the focusing sleeve from the flashlight itself were also unfruitful because Luxpro does not release any information on how to disassemble their items and would rather you either purchase a new one or make a warranty claim essentially removing any ability to be user-serviceable if something like this ever happens. I definitely recommend avoiding purchasing at least the LuxPro LP847 solely for its lack of user-serviceability and its poor quality assurance.

Power on a compact package

This flashlight packs a lot of light into a small package! Easy to charge and the zoom and light level controls give many use options.

Would be better if it Charged

After our power went out I bought this product and it worked great until it died. The usb C port doesn’t hold the charger. So it’s basically useless now. I bought it because of the rechargeable port. When i first got it, it was bright and worked great.

Charging cable will NOT fit into the flashlight port

I have tried over and over to insert the charging cord into the port of the flashlight but it doesn’t fit properly.

Not worth the price or guarantee

I bought this product for the guarantee, and when I needed it, I was told my item was discontinued and offered a code that did not cover the cost of a new light that was equal to or better than what I had, plus it cost me out of pocket, and shipping was not great either. Lesson: Don't buy products just because it has a guarantee, because the company will let you down; it is just a shortcut to make you feel confident in the buy, but you will learn in the end just how much a company will honor their warranty.
These "replacements" are not as they seem, and the recharge vs light output is something to be improved, but this is just my review on what I gambled on and what the company did for me (which was not spectacular or worth the paper the guarantee is written on).

Nice Light

The flashlight is a good buy for the price vs lumens. Only wish the charging port was a bit larger and more secure.

Bright and lightweight

Flashlight was very bright for the price point. I liked the ease of the rechargeable battery with the option to have battery backup. The ability to zoom in and out for spot beam or flood was nice and it is lightweight with a good hand grip. Simple to use and didn't have to read the directions to figure it out.
