Perfect for one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size and high temperature of this oven lets me cook just enough for myself without heating up the large kitchen oven. I can cook so much beyond just toast in it.

Best Toaster for Me

I have two of these, one at school and one for home. Aside from the cuteness, it makes perfect toast every time, and is also great for toaster pasteries and waffles. I've also enjoyed making frozen pizza (1/4 of a Totino's Party Pizza), cheese toast, and fish sticks, it's very effective for these. I did not have great success with cookies or mini pies, but it did make a nice blueberry crumble, using the Wilton Silicone Mini Tart mold. It's the easiest toaster to clean that I've ever owned. I've had both of mine for years, with my school toaster getting heavy usage daily, and they both work as well as they did when they were new.

Too hot!

We have tried this toaster oven multiple times and the problem seems to be that it gets too hot. We have attempted to cook pizza rolls, dinner rolls, and garlic knots in this and all of them turned out burnt but yet not completely cooked all the way. This may be solved by changing the constant temperature to lower, such as at 350 degrees instead of 400. Overall, the one-star rating is due to the functionality being diminished by the high temperature, even if the unit is super adorable on the counter. Thanks!
