Bad desing don't buy it

I purchased this Yale lock with lots of excitement. Could not mount the keypad to the backplate, struggled for 2 hours, and stabbed myself in the hand with the Phillips screwdriver in the process.
Finally one of the wires got detached. I am not an expert handyman but am able to do a simple install. Had no issues with the Nest Yale lock at double the price. That one is a good design and easy to mount, this one is garbage. Stay away!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
