Clear smoke comes out back and door.

The Black and Decker toaster oven works great. I keep it clean inside and out. But about 10 times in the last 5 weeks or so as soon as I turn it on a clear bunch of smoke comes out the back and door. It has no smell but definitely isnt normal. Customer service said today to me on the phone it's normal and nothing to worry about. I have had many toaster ovens and none did this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Knob broke, burns things in bake mode

Bake mode does not work as such. What should be bake mode has the upper element on way too hot, and burns things quickly, unlike earlier models. Selector knob broke within two weeks of purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was about time I got a new toaster oven because the old one was almost 20 years old it still worked but it was pretty beat. So now I got a brand new Black & Decker toaster oven that will Outlast me.
