Metal clip replacement

The metal clip comes off too easily and gets lost and I can’t find where or how to replace it without buying a whole new knife. Very frustrating feature in an otherwise great product.

I only had this for a month and the release button broke. I've used it often, soley to cut cardboard boxes for my retail job. Now the blade is stuck and will not go up or down. If Dewalt improved the release button, the product would have received an easy 5 stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good knife but broke after three weeks!

The locking button is made of plastic. The tab that allows the blade to be locked/unlocked broke. Now I can’t open or close it.

Bad Button

The knife comes in plastic around the button so it feels fine until you unwrap it then you notice the button rattles and does not feel secure. It is a shame that the rest of the knife feel and looks like good quality but the button is this cheap plastic failure. The button is a bad design and may come apart at any time so keep away from this product, don't let the looks fool you this product does not function properly so move on and get something else.

Great snap off knife but slider wears out easily.

I have bought plenty of these 9mm snap-off knives. I enjoy them and have given them as gifts, but the problem with them is the slider always wears out from normal use. It no longer "auto-locks" in place
I would recommend this to a friend!

small knife but big on usage

Ihave purchased this knife in the past,but the plastic control lock broke the first time I dropped it. Otherwise a great tool for cutting shrinkwrap among other things!
I would recommend this to a friend!
