[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how smart the idea of this lock is! it's so easy to install and get setup and running! It's easy to use. Either a key, or you can use the code you set. I love the color and quality and seriously recommend this to anybody looking to upgrade.

Very frustrating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the whole idea of having an electronic keypad lock. The lock itself was very easy to install. My husband is pretty good with doing DIY projects so this seemed pretty easy for him. After the lock was installed we followed the directions to program lock but for some reason we couldn’t get it to work unless the key was inserted. We tried everything and even looked up videos on YouTube. We pretty much gave up and took the lock back off. But my husband ended up trying it again later and after reinstalling the lock, we finally got it to work. Very frustrating but now that it works correctly I’m kind of worried about it messing up again.

Hello Amberds12,
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and we're thrilled to hear your lock is working great now. We are happy to help with installation and programming over the phone. To ensure your lock is working without the keys installed, we recommend installing the interior assembly with the keys removed and rehanding the lock. If there's any further support we can provide, we are available here: https://www.kwikset.com/support/customer-service
Thank you,
Kwikset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Kwikset - Powerbolt Contemporary Keypad Electronic Deadbolt and it works really good. It is a matte black so it will go with many decors. It is easy to install and the keypad is easy to use. It makes having a deadbolt on your door super easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kwikset Powerbolt Keypad works well. It was very simple to install and gives the entry of our home a great look and feel. We love that it is as simple as punching in a code to get in our home as well as hitting the lock button to leave. And should we need we are still able to use our key. It's strong and durable as well. We love this lock. We definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've slowly been adding keypad locks and deadbolts throughout our house and this is our latest addition. This one is a good value. It is easy to install and use and has a key that can be used in case of emergency. I like that it has vacation mode as an option. The matte black fits with just about any style.

Great deadbolt!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This deadbolt is just what was needed for our door! My boys love to be able to open the door for us but sometimes it is hard with the key and to turn the knob. With them being able to use a code makes it so much easier especially if the keys get locked into the house! I completely recommend this to all!

This keypad was extremely easy to install. We have installed it where we have many guests so it was way cool to just text the code to our friends.
