Great Camera for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Camera Kids Digital with Video is a great first camera for little children. My young son absolutely loves his camera. He loves taking pictures of everything. Easy to use. Easy to download the pictures onto a computer.

Sturdy design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great starter camera for young children. I absolutely hate how difficult it is to remove the battery panel (with a screwdriver) and put it back on with batteries inside (takes 4 AA batteries which aren't included). It works best in high light areas or outside during the day time. The design is very durable and sturdy so it would be difficult if not impossible, for kids to break by dropping it. I love the grip holds to help the kiddos learn to take a steady pic. There are controls to advance the photo views after you have taken them, and you can use a usb cord (included) to upload their photos to a computer or other device. Awesome starter camera for those 8 and under. Older children may be frustrated by the picture quality and lack of flash for more variable photo options since they are likely accustomed to cell phone quality pics. Highly recommend if these conditions are of no consequence to you-great realistic toy!

Son Loves It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this awesome camera for my son. I am so happy that I did. My son is 5 yrs old and is obsessed with wanting to start a YouTube channel of his own. This camera also has video which is awesome.
It's easy for him to hold and manage. It's easy enough for him to use on his own without much help.
It's also very durable. It's been dropped a couple of time's and so far so good. All in all I'm very pleased with this camera. My son is very very happy with it.

Picture Perfect Preschool Style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Discovery Digital Camera is the perfect camera for kids around 4years old and up.Thanks to the protective rubber encasement I didn't have to worry about my grandbabies dropping and breaking it.This camera has easy gripped sides as well to help hold it tight.The camera is made not only for pictures,but has a digital video record option as well.The buttons are very easy to use,so you can let you little ones do there thing all by themselves.I loved reviewing the pics and seeing the view from my children's eyes.

decent for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is decent for kids that just want to play with a camera. Camera can store up to 120 pictures. You can send the pictures to your computer via USB to save or print. 1.5 inch screen on the back so you can preview your photos. There is also a video capture option. The pictures are not great quality and is more of a toy than an actual camera. The best part is that its heavy duty and has a drop resistance frame with big hand grips for kiddos.

Kids love it!

It's the perfect size and the grips on the side are really great in allowing him to have a good hold on it and prevent drops. Will get a lot of uses out of this for sure!

My kid's love making videos and doing different crafts so they love being able to take pictures and record all there. Stuff definitely would recommend

Difficult to transfer and blurry pics

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try a camera that was built for children to use as it is more tolerant to dropping and rough use. This camera is good for kids once they learn the steps to use it. All 3 of my children ages 6, 9 and 11 have used it to take pictures and videos and enjoy looking at the pictures on the camera. However, when I tried to transfer them to a computer, the included usb cord wasn't recognized by my computer. Luckily I had a few extra and was able to find one that would work. Then when I had the pictures transferred to the computer, I realized how blurry they are and the quality of the pictures. I'm sure some of that had to do with the way my kids move when taking pictures. But I also tried taking a couple of pictures with it. They weren't write as blurry, but the quality still wasn't very good. So as far as the camera goes, it's study and built to survive children. And the children don't mind if their pictures are blurry and not that great. So overall, there camera does a good job as being a kid's camera. I think younger children might be better suited for it though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
