Disappointing

I just got mine and it runs very hot, freezes my explorer, disconnects repeatedly, and the transfer speed from a type-c has not gone above 350mb/s. If I weren't in a remote location for work, I'd send it back. For what I paid, I am not happy. And I am very worried about losing my files! Having to plug it in is an extra inconvenience, especially with a SSD. And if it can't stay on my desk and stay connected, then I just don't know what I can do with it. When it disconnects, I can't just unplug the type-C. That does nothing. I have to unplug and replug the power of the device.
I am incredibly disappointed. I own a lot of SanDisk drives and I don't know if I'll buy another.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I edit video and was looking for a large drive for Time Machine backups + a project archive and this is perfect. I couldn't stand the sound of a spinning hard drive in my bedroom where my computer is, so when I found this new larger capacity SSD I was excited. I do wish it stayed cooler, but I read it's normal for it to remain hot.

Big enough it’s not easy to lose like a flash drive, and small enough that it doesn’t take up much space. The perfect device to store important documents and special pictures so they don’t get lost

Super fast speed and huge storage capacity

It’s a huge external storage of 4 TB which is so perfect for backup solution. I was able to transfer all my photos, videos, music, data etc., within seconds. With a compact design that I can carry easily everywhere, fits great into any workspace. This SDD is compatible with Windows and macOS. This external drive is great for me as my side job, a content creators I works with a large amount of multimedia files. Thanks for this SSD save my time, save space. Well done. Highly recommend because it’s worth to invest for your job or even just to hold a large amount of your medias.
