The tape is great but the dispenser is a joke !
And then you provide a little white paper , with the bar code trying to explain how to load the tape. The example pictures are so small you need a mag. glass to read them !

Does not stick

I purchased an eight pack of scotch premium performance packaging tape a month ago. Needless to say I did not think there would be a problem. Now I can't find my receipt. I loaded a tape gun finding the tape does not stick. I tried another roll and the same thing occurred. I am very disappointed. I thought I was buying the best packaging tape for the job. I now have 8 rolls of nonstick tape. This was money down the drain!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just finished packing up my Daughter for a big move. First roll of tape we used was useless. Went and got the Scotch Shipping and Packaging Tape and it lived up to its name of HEAVY DUTY!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor quality tape..very disappointed!!

I ship virtually every day of the week, hence, I go through a lot of tape. I've been using Scotch brand tape for years without ever having any issues. In the last few months, I've noticed a huge different in the quality of the product. My first issue is that occasionally the cardboard center of the tape roll is distorted....my only recourse is to not use the tape dispenser and manually cut by hand....a major inconvience. Second, the quality of the tape itself seems to be substandard....it can easily be peeled off any package it's used on. My packing cartons look pristine....no glue residue, no cardboard is removed with the tape. I don't know what has changed in recent months. My description of this product if someone asked would be to say it was "removable tape." I rely on shipping tape to secure packages...the fact that it can be so easily peeled off is completely unsatisfactory. I purchase multipacks....this issue is now present consistently with each roll....poor adhesion to say the least.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Tape... Horrible Dispenser

The tape is great. I am a teacher and use it a great deal to hang things in my classroom. The dispenser is the worst!!!!!! It gets stuck and or it clings to the roll and I have to find the edge of the tape to start it rolling. Bad Design.
