Heaving Duty Dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this stuff! Whether we pack and ship, move, or pack for storage, this is what we use. As clumsy as I am, even I can work this gadget!

Couldn't run my household without it!

I use this tape for everything! It is so dependable and ALWAYS comes off the roll easily without sticking to everything before it reaches the job for which it was intended. I make sure I always have it on hand, and have even given it to 11 girl friends as the little Christmas gift that each of our 12 Bunko Buddies gives to each other.
I would recommend this to a friend!

NOT Sticky. Will not stick to regular cardboard.

Based on all of the rave reviews, I must have received a bad batch or something. I got a small box of these 1.5" cores on the plastic dispensers.
I took one small roll (out of the small box of them) with me to a convention, so that I could pack up everything when the show was complete.
When I put it on the first box, I noticed that something was very wrong. It would barely stick to the box. I noticed that it would barely even stick to my fingers. I then tried to seal a couple boxes with it. However, buy the time I got to the next box, it was already coming off of the previous box.
When pulled it off of the roll, it was nearly as sticky on the "adhesive" side as it was on the back.
This was huge mess for me. It was the only roll of tape I had (I only had 6-7 boxes to seal). When I got back, I noticed that the other brand-new rolls were the same.
Very disappointing. :-(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst tape ever!

I bought this tape about a week ago and the tape did not have any type of adhesive. The roll basically became undone as soon as you pulled the tape off. On top of that the tape was really expensive. Very dissatisfied with the quality of the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have NEVER been able to thread this dispenser. No matter how calm I am, no matter how much I try, it won't work! I've used many rolls and I never am able to use it properly. Please! Make a video before I lose my mind!

I have used this product several times. The ease of use is remarkable and it stands up to package mailing just like a pro. I would recommend this product to anyone with or without packages to mail.

Less than stellar performance

Bought shipping and packing tape for a move. It just kept lifting off. At one point I was lifting a box off the ground and my foot stuck to a piece of lifted tape. The whole bottom came open

The width of the tape is not to be found anywhere in the details or specifications.
