[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Scotch "Packaging Tape." I recommend it to everyone who is moving. In the past when I used the cheaper brands, the tape stuck together or would get tangled up. I wasted half a roll. The last time I moved, a friend brought me some other brand of packaging tape and I apologized and stated I only use Scotch "Packaging Tape." I also use it around the house for items that need repairs.
I also love the Scotch "Painters Tape." It is a wonderful product not only for painting jobs, but for jobs that you need to tape items to other surfaces.

As many times as I tried, I could not figure out how to make the tape usable. It would not unpeel from the roll. I looked at the instructions. They only tell you what everybody knows already - how to use it once you can get to it. But actually figuring out how to unpeel it? Nothing in the instructions. Nothing on line. So thanks for nothing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

assurance my son gets my pkg to AFGHANISTAN

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this tape for 13 yrs for all my son's packages with his deployments from Iraq to Afghanistan. Its the toughness of the adhesive that make me feel confident this tape does it's job.When you are waiting for a piece of home ,you wan to make sure it arrives.I would not use anything else,today I'm running out to buy more for another pkg for my son for the holidays.So,take my advice from a single parent military mom who counts her pennies.It is worth it,it is never a lot to buy and i use it for those precious packages.

Tape It Up, And Ship It Out!

The tape itself is so sturdy that it gives me complete confidence when sending packages in the mail, by courier, or even for storage purposes. I honestly feel better knowing I am using Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Tape.
The dispenser is, well, dispensable! *LOL* It makes it so convenient you do not have to worry about scissors. Now, if you are like me and sometimes finish your taping work a the post office, this is the most convenient way to use the tape. I love this product!

Most Reliable Packaging Tape Out There

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried overall 6 different brands of Packaging Tape for my Shipping Supplies of Boxes & re-inforcing bubble mailers. I personally feel this tape performed the BEST out of ALL the other brands. Easy to 'Start off' the roll, simple application to the boxes & holds up to everything (I have yet to have a buyer tell me that a box broke it's seal or the tape gave out/ ripped). Overall, EXCELLENT product, great value, too (you use less of it--you don't have to go over the same spot 2 to 3 times).

We move too often

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have been married for almost 38 years and have moved 22 times. I have tried different packing tape sometimes but always go back to a Scotch brand. The dispenser is wonderful, I don't have to ruin my finger nails trying to get scratch off the end piece that always sticks So, I go to the store and get my Scotch brand tape. I also have relatives and friends who live far away, so when I send their birthday or Christmas gifts I really depend on the scotch packaging tape. I have had such ease using Scotch brand tape and tell my relatives and friends about it.

Just try to open the roll!

I'm an elderly gentleman and struggled with trying to open the tape. Called up my neighbor and he struggled as well. I'll never buy it again and tossed in in the garbage!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

tape is to thick, and does not stick as well as the thinner one
