Awesome filter for allergens and dust

Just love these filters. I use to use a different brand until my asthma and allergy clinic suggested these. Now this is all that I buy!

Excellent Filtrete

This is an excellent filter for trapping the cat hair that flies through the air in our home. Seems like the hair never ends, but, when we use these filters we have less hair in the air. It is in the filter instead. Great job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great value for the money!

This does exactly what is says it will do. With all the wildfire smoke, I was worried but this did a great job. The 1085 can not be beat for the price. I don't have severe allergies or asthma so I can't say how it does against those.

I like 3m filters but the 4 inch is 7/16 to big. Please 3M make narrower filters. Need 25×20×3 7/16

Gets the dust

When I first started using these filters I immediately noticed a reduction of dust in the house. I went from having to dust once a week to about once a month or longer depending on the room. If you suffer allergies from dust, pet hair etc., you will notice a significant improvement. We use Filtrete Allergen Defense 1200 MPR.
I would recommend this to a friend!

DOES NOT FIT!

The Allergen Defense 1000 14x30x1 does not fit the return air filter holder on my system. Other brands are tight, but they fit. 3M admits the filter is slightly larger, but gives no reason why, nor is it noted on the filter. NOT HAPPY!

i feel like it doesn't fit well in the vent. the filter is good itself.

Filters don't last long at all

I've had to change my filter 3x in 1 month, because it kept clogging and causing my furnace to short cycle. I keep a very clean house, have 1 dog and 1 cat, a separate air purifier and vacuum regularly...shouldnt have to change out a 90 day filter 3x in 30 days. Very frustrated with this filter and will be calling to get my money back.
