Kitchen Aid Mixer Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item December 2025. After having a smaller Kitchen Aid for over 20 years, I was anxious to upgrade. The Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer was a huge disappointment. Though it was purchased as “new”, I am convinced it was a refurbished return item. Multiple defects were apparent upon its first use. The base & motor would wobble up and down, even when locked in place and even when attempting to mix items that should have not created that movement (such as eggs or other liquids). The paddle & dough hook would not stay affixed to the motor arm during use. The bowl would not remain in the locked-in position during use. The motor at levels 1-3 sounded as if it was working too hard. The motor at levels 6-10 did not change speed or intensity. This item was returned (Amazon purchase). Though I’ve always loved my current Kitchen Aid mixer, I’m currently researching to see which stand mixer has the best reviews. I was disappointed that the quality of the new mixer I purchased was substandard, though I loved the color (pistachio). Very disappointing.

It’s powerful, smooth, and handles everything from thick doughs to lighter mixes with ease. The build quality is excellent, and it stays stable even under heavier loads.
It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and clearly designed to last for years. If you bake or cook regularly, this is one of those appliances that’s absolutely worth the investment.
Highly recommend!

Is it weird to say ‘I Love’ a kitchen appliance?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting a KitchenAid stand mixer for years and in December 2025 my dream came true! I am 60 years old, I have rheumatoid arthritis and I truly thought my baking days were over until my husband bought me this KitchenAid for my birthday/41st anniversary/Christmas! This machine works with the precision of a Ferrari! It’s incredibly easy to use! Even with my RA, I have no trouble lifting the machine above the base and with the locking mechanism I feel very safe! I have no trouble locking the bowl in to secure it or removing it! Within one week I had made whipping cream, whipped the balance of the cream into homemade butter, Perfection! Made my very first batch of snickerdoodle cookies, and wowed my husband with a chocolate chip banana loaf! My husband‘s exact words were “this was the best investment we ever made in a kitchen Appliance” and over 41 years of marriage you know we have bought a lot of appliances so that’s an incredible statement of approval because he no longer NEEDS to help me in the kitchen, but he likes to now! No matter your age, no matter your skill level in cooking this is an appliance that you MUST have in your kitchen, we simply can’t recommend it enough!

Rough start in the beginning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I returned my 4 1/2 qtr and bought the 5 qt. I was excited when it came and I unboxed it and put it in my kitchen. I went to adjust the paddle and I could it turn the screw to adjust the paddle up or down. I was very upset but after about 1 month I’d tried to adjust it and I was able to adjust it. It works great

It's Beautiful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Artisian Stand Mixer for Christmas. It is a beautiful porcelain color which I love. Well made. The motor is a bit noisy which caused me concern at first but I think it's normal after I did a lot of research. Others have had this issue. I bought extra attachments for it (glass bowl and the grater attachment) which are excellent as well. It's a nice kitchen accessory. If you love baking and cooking it is almost a necessity in my opinion.

A beautiful well built appliance that complements my newly renovated kitchen. I love it!
