Absolutely Love Our Kitchen Aid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tool in the kitchen, especially for us. We use it almost everyday from making breads and rolls to pasta and healthy energy bites. We also have a shredder/slicer attachment that we use often, especially for cheeses.

Don't make them like they use to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 year-old kitchen aid stop powering on and instead of finding someone to fix it I purchased a new one. within 30 days the attachment wheel stopped spinning, I called support which was great. They advised (and I have seen on multiple forms) not to go over 2 on the speed when mixing dough of any kind. The mixer was replaced, the new one (and I don't go over 2) is horrible. For a 500 dollar mixer, I cannot understand why the head bounces and I am very limited to what I can make at one time. We do a lot of baking, both breads and cookies. I miss my old mixer, did not have these problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are very happy with the quality of the Artisan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Classic unit lasted nearly 15 years and we couldn't have asked more of it. The Artisan is a bit stronger and has performed as it is created to do. We are very happy with the upgrade.

Great Workhorse

With arthritis plaguing my wrists and hands, a lot of things I like to bake - breads, desserts that require a lot of mixing - this mixer is an answer to my wishes. I love the colour and design, the ease of use. My old multi-function stand mixer came with blender and food processor along with whisks, dough hooks and paddles and I've sorely missed it since it died about 8 years ago. It's long been my wish to acquire a reliable and sturdy stand mixer and this past birthday my wish came true. I'm saving now for a couple of attachments that mean I'll be able to streamline my kitchen space by dispensing with other equipment. First on that wish list is the meat grinder as I have two large dogs and prefer to make my own raw food for them. The grinder will cut down on my manual labour immensely. My husband is silently hoping for the ice cream maker so that may have to take priority over the juicer and pasta maker. I am quite content with my stand mixer and I know it's going to see plenty of work in my kitchen!
