Great Potential, but Not Ready to Replace Arlo

I purchased two Hue cameras hoping to start phasing out my aging Arlo system. I love Hue lights and have been a longtime unofficial ambassador for the brand, so the idea of consolidating my cameras and lighting into a single platform is very appealing.
I was immediately disappointed by the lack of Apple Home support. Based on the product description mentioning Apple Home compatibility, I assumed the cameras would be supported as well.
Aside from that, the video quality is noticeably better than my Arlo cameras, but the Hue app still feels much less useful for managing video. Because the Arlo app is designed specifically around cameras, it makes it much easier to quickly view all cameras, see recent activity, and browse recorded videos.
Hopefully, over time, Hue adds Apple Home support and improves the camera and video experience within the app. I’m optimistic about the platform, but for now, I won’t be replacing my Arlo cameras with Hue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
