What a great option for a single shelf solution

What a great option for a single shelf solution. You can mount this either right side up or you can invert the back plate if need be. I needed to simply because I was mounting this over a plasma T.V. I needed that hole you see in the photograph below not above the shelf. It takes a little getting used to the assembly but if you are mechanically inclined it will be no problem. If you suck at mechanical stuff, please don't give up. It will come to you, trust me. If you are looking for a small, modern looking shelf to hold a piece of equipment or two, this is it. It went up in under an hour from assembly to installation. Cheers,

mounting the self is somewhat hard to get level.I got all hardware but package was open.I also noticed that the glass was chipped in the rear edge which was not noticeable when mounted but was was why it was returned.I think a package that was returned should have been check and not just sent out to someone else that might not return product.

Great option to complement a wall-hung TV and keep all cords hidden.

One star removed for instructions that make Ikea furniture instructions seem like they were written by post-graduate English professors. That said, this when assembled properly is a VERY solid shelf that will easily hold a couple of devices without bowing. Make sure you are securing it to a stud, or using drywall anchors. I measured this exactly, and the cable management arm that sticks up is so flush with the bottom of my wall mounted TV that it's a bit hard to run cables... but once you snake them in, you literally cannot see wires.I will warn that the channel is a bit narrow. Don't expect to run four power cords and four HDMI cables through it plus a couple of ethernet cables, but if you are just carrying 5 or so cables, this will work out real well.

Nice shelf for the money

Nice shelf that goes together fairly quickly. Only one small gripe. The pass thru for wires is too small. Sanus uses a removeable cover that allows more flexibility. Almost twice the price though, so I'm happy with this one.

Very good mount . I was nervous because my av receiver weight was at the capacity limit. I added additional brackets under to prevent the shelve to flex.
