Very useful. I sleep in a loft the cieling is arms length above me, I mounted one of these to the cieling, put my tablet in it and now I surf the web and play solitare every night before i go to sleep.

The sturdy, multi-position holder I was hoping it'd be. Shakes a bit when touching screen, but great for viewing.

Decent... as long as you don't move it.

Decent mount... only if you plan on locking it in place and not moving it again. The locking pins are made of plastic... and seem to be prone to breakage. In my instance this was fine, as I never plan on moving the tablet around, however, it should really be designed to be movable over and over again without permanently damaging the mount. 3 stars due to a poor design, though still a good price tag, and one of the only mounts available like it.

No worries here. It seems very sturdy but then again, it's not like I'm yanking the Ipad off the mount. I don't really move the mount all that much. I use my Ipad as a secondary screen so it's generally stays in one comfortable spot. I can see that it might be an issue if this was meant to be moved around often. Just remember it's not meant to be a permanent fixture.
