Not Great for Sleep

The reported 55-57db noise level is accurate (I measured 53 about 4ft away), but only on low fan. However, it's the inconsistency of noise that makes it hard to sleep. It'll make buzzing and gurgling noises intermittently.
Even worse, it will shut off when it reaches temperature. Which sounds great until it kicks back on going from effectively 0db to 55db and startling you awake.
Other than that, it cools the room and has a good window kit (though lacking weather stripping).

Climatiseur portable pour fenêtre

Très satisfaite. J’ai commandé le climatiseur un jeudi et je l’ai reçu le jeudi suivant. La livraison est faite par Poste Canada, ce que j'apprécie. La boîte était en parfaite condition, ni déchirée, ni eventrée. Comme c’est mon premier climatiseur, je ne peux pas comparer pour le bruit. Pour ce qui est de l’installation, très facile. J’avais regardé une vidéo sur YouTube avant l’achat.
Le tuyau ne convient pas à ma fenêtre à manivelle, mais je le savais. Je vais faire installer un plexiglass dans le moustiquaire par un spécialiste.
