[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This DCF860 is definitely a beast. When comparing it to my already powerful dcf887 model it is very noticeably more powerful. I was driving 3 1/2” construction screw through red oak with ease. Not even the slightest sign of struggle on any of the 3 speeds. It also has push buttons to select speeds compared to the older versions having a sliding selector switch. It also has a 20 minute flash light mode button(9 LED lights) which really comes in handy as a work light or flash light in a pinch. The handle feels good in hand and appears to be the same as older versions. The motor housing however is barely bigger than my dcf850 ATOMIC version (maybe 1/2” deeper). I couldn’t even get the impact to show any signs of struggle while driving 4 1/2” lag bolts. - specs are 1,800/2,500/3,800 RPM.
Overall I’m extremely impressed with this new version impact. It’s definitely my now go to for longer screws in tough materials. It’s amazing how the newer versions can somehow keep improving with somehow making them smaller at the same time. Definitely 5 stars.

Has great torque gets everything I need tight

20V MAX XR Brushless Cordless Impact driver

There are a couple of things that you should know about an impact driver. The first is to be careful about using too much force because it will either strip the head of the fastener or it will mess up the threads. The other thing is that you can also use the drill with your sockets sets as long as you have the right adapter. If you do this, you also have to be careful of the torque that the impact drill driver puts out because you risk snapping the head off of your fasteners. Beyond that, the Powerstack battery is unbelievable with it being a high capacity lithium-ion battery, while also being compact and powerful. It is excellent for any task at a worksite or around your home. All in all, it is no surprise that the DeWalt 20v Max XR impact driver with the Powerstack battery is a powerful design because that is what DeWalt is known for.

Worth the money. Great features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like that it’s now variable speed. Being able to select from 3 different speeds is great. The light on the front is an added bonus. Specially since I can select the brightness of the light. Overall it works way better than my other dewalt impact. Very satisfied with it. And highly recommended.

New DCF860 all the Power plus more Torque!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great improved torque for a ¼” Impact Driver. All three speeds are controllable and have an ease to use them. Brighter LED light with 20 min extended time and more than enough light to light up the work area. A big improvement with speed and torque to get the job done faster.

Great new light weight impact driver.

I used it to drill out some holes in a new construction home we were wiring up. I will be using this impact driver for years to come and many different tasks building new homes.
