As a newbie quilter I treated myself to a new Singer Patchwork Plus machine. It has many of the features that will be of benefit for all my quilting requirements. It was great value for a good machine, with on exception. The walking foot does not have a guide that extends far enough forward to be of any value. A very poor selection of a walking foot to be included with a machine that is for quilting.
I already have purchased a new walking foot and am awaiting its arrival. Thankfully the new foot was not expensive.

Not the singer quality I was expecting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since the day I got my machine I had issues. It would skip stitches in folds of just cotton, this is a quilt machine after all!!!! And now 6 months into my machine as I was trying to accept it as is m, I am now facing electrical issues it just keeps on sewing after I let the pedal go. What a nightmare so much for the warranty, nearest center is 460 miles away! Now I have to spend money on shipping it there and getting it back to me. Very disappointed with my purchase. Looks like singer doesn’t match up to its name anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tension offff

I got this machine and I have been having issues. Tension is always wrong. The store where I got it is closed and cannot take it back. What can I do!!
