Great for Large Cuts of Meat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Americana Grills Stainless Steel Charcoal BBQ Smoker is a breeze to put together. It holds large cuts of meat and a large water bowl. I love that the water bowl is large so that I am not constantly dropping the temp to fill the bowl up. The adjustable doors are perfect for adjusting the temp on the meat. I love the Charcoal flavor with the ease of this smoker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Americana Grill Charcoal Smoker is so nice with the stainless steel, temperature gauge, wooden handles, and vents! The meat that comes out of this smoker tastes fantastic! It didn't take much time for my husband to assemble(around 30 minutes), and he was using it the same day! The quality is super nice! Great Charcoal Smoker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it for the holidays. Made good meals. Easy to assemble. Can't wait try hickory in it and smoke some ribs this summer. Just got this vertical smoker today and assembled it. Cheap hardware, thin main body and the locking latches are super flimsy. Only thing that feels well made is the bowls.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Americana stainless steel charcoal smoker is easy to assemble (45 min to an hour) and the body of the smoker and wooden handles give it a pretty attractive appearance. It has a heat indicator on the lid which indicates if the temp is Warm, Ideal or Hot. This really has nothing to do with the temperature of the meat itself and is only useful to see if the charcoal needs re-lit. Speaking of which, it doesn't come with any charcoal so that will need to be purchased separately on your own before getting started. I've noticed a few cons while using this product. The first is that the material is pretty lightweight and flimsy. I would be concerned if trying to cook on a windy day that the smoker would be blown over. I also feel like the thin material might make it difficult to cook in the winter or on a cold day. Another negative is that the pieces don't quite fit together as they should, and I had trouble getting the lid onto the main section of the smoker. The doors did also not slide open & closed smoothly and required a bit of force.
My overall opinion of this smoker is that it is pretty basic and might be a little difficult for someone with little to no smoking experience to operate and be successful at. The brisket I made took much more work and took much longer than anticipated. It ultimately turned out well but this is not something I could see myself using on a regular basis.
