Little special about these, aside form no wires.

I've found there is little special about these, aside form no wires.
The sound balance is better in older EarBuds.
EQ is trying to sound like Beats ... No longer clean.
DoubleTap is unreliable, if it works at all.

Not really an upgrade

I got the pods because I love the wired style, except for the inconvenience of wires, and constantly pulling them out by accident when I’m talking or listening to music. The EarPods sound great, the effortless connectivity is awesome. But as I’m utilizing them, my biggest problem is that you can’t control volume with the headphones themselves, you need to touch the buttons on the phone. One thing I miss from the wired style, was the easy skip back/forward and volume buttons that hung on the cord. While you can program what you want each earbud to do in settings, there is no option to adjust volume so you still have to keep your phone in your hand if you want to adjust volume. Not really an upgrade if I miss a feature of the old style, is it?

Best Ear Pods Yet

I tried six different brands and types of head sets in order to find something comfortable, with good sound quality, including the new Beats x . These AirPods slip right into the ear, and the sound quality is very good.
I was concerned about them falling out, but should not have been. I have done all sorts of workouts (including inverted pushups, sit ups, pull ups, etc) and yard chores that involved bending down, twisting and all manner of movements . The AirPods didn't budge or ever feel like they were coming loose.
I have paired them with both my iPhone and Apple watch.
I highly recommend them to anyone active who wants to have their music with them.

The airpods seem to stay in my ear just fine with normal use. But they definetly are not worth the price. I have $50 bluetooth headphones that sound better.

Overall I would say the Air pods are great. They could have more use of remote instead of using Siri and if it's sunny out the light sensors sense light since some light shines through they cut out
I would recommend this to a friend!

The sound, while clear, is very bass heavy when choosing flat.
The EQ offerings are prepackaged and poor.
Double tap only worked once.
