[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to add to the connection kit I already have for my small Canon point and shoot. With a little adjustment, made easy by the included tools, I was able to keep either camera close to hand. While great for toting around, it wasn't the best choice for recording with the Pocket 3. My hiking stride isn't Ninja like enough - not the fault of the POV Kit.

I bought two P.O.V. kits as I wanted to be able to quickly change between my GoPro and Insta360 Ace Pro 2.
It's a good kit of the great quality you expect from PD and usefulness is obvious as it turns your Capture into an action cam mount. I really liked the knob that fastens the mount as it's a little bit wobbly without it.
The reason why I give it 4 stars is because I wanted to mount my Capture on a messenger bag strap that runs across the chest, and wanted to keep the camera turned 45 degrees. Doing so turned out to be a bit of a challenge, as additional adapters will weigh down on the mount. Even if you're not using adapters, I would recommend mounting the action cam downward as the weight may make the mount a bit unstable.
In the end I used a regular mounting plate connected to an adapter. This allows me to turn the adapter 45 degrees without adding extra weight. I still don't regret buying the P.O.V. kit as it's the perfect solution if you are connecting the action cam directly to it and mounting the Capture on your belt or a backpack strap.

This kit fit the most important criteria of all, low profile. I am not using my camera for vlogging nor do I want any attention; it is just to film my kids! This product allows me to use it confidently without standing out as it is extremely low profile keeping the camera close to me. It is extremely sturdy and works well for the price!

Bought this for backcountry skiing/alpine touring and cycling. I like it bc it’s always on the outside of your clothing regardless if you re-layer unlike some of the chest mounts which need to be taken off and put back on over clothes. Seems robust event though it’s plastic. Metal would be too heavy IMO. Will it survive a sling or cycling collision? Probably not but neither will the camera. No issues using or adjusting it in -11C temps.
